Smart Parts has finally released a new and improved version of their highly successful tournament marker, the Impulse. However, the 2009 Impulse is not just a smaller, lighter version of its predecessor as it hosts a number of new features such as: a balanced poppet valve for smooth cycling and 1700-1800 shots off a 68/4500, dual regulation allowing for reduced bolt force and kick, a rechargeable battery that will fire over 100,000 shots on a single charge, and hinged vision eye covers for easy cleaning just to name a few.
